LPC

I am a Board Licensed Professional Counselor with the state of South Carolina. I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University a CACREP accredited university. I gained the majority of my experience at a psychiatric facility where I have helped adolescents and families with a broad range and severity of conflicts including depression, anxiety, family relationships, substance abuse, sex addiction, legal issues, religious issues, complex trauma, and more. I am most comfortable with Gestalt therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but am always seeking ways to grow with my client’s goals in mind.

I desire to be better equipped to help, so I always start by getting to know each client as a whole person so we can figure out together which type of counseling is going to be the most beneficial for you. I am a firm believer that you are the expert on your own life, and you have the power to change it. We all get stuck sometimes and need a little help. My goal is to assist you in realizing your fullest potential through finding ways to utilize your strengths to overcome your barriers and become all of who you can be. I approach therapy in a very self-empowering and solution-oriented way because I want you to be able to improve your life experience through therapy, not have to change your life to accommodate it.
